I picked this old double barrel side-by-side up this past week. This one will be a lot of fun and a big challenge. I need to do some research on who the manufacturer is, however I’m up for the challenge and looking forward to restoring this to its original working condition. After removing a lot of the rust and corrosion, we were able to identify the make of the shotgun. This one was sold under the “American Firearms Co” brand by Crescent Arms in 1914. The Crescent Arms company produced several different models sold under various names like this one. They were a household name and commonly referred to as “hardware store” guns.
