The Stevens Model 65 was produced in the early 1920’s and 1930’s. There is no way to tell what year this rifle was manufactured, as they did not have serial numbers back then. However the model 65 was identical to the popular model 66, except one unique difference. The magazine band on the model 65 is hidden underneath the stock. On the model 66, it is exposed and in front of the stock. Other than that, they are practically the same gun. This one turned out well and fired great at the range.
