Stevens Youth Model 11 Falling Block .22

Posted on August 11, 2024

My Uncle called me about this one, asking if I could do anything about this old Stevens Youth Model 11 rifle. This model is very similar in design to the Stevens Model 14 1/2 Little Scout, which I am very thankful for because there isn’t very much information on the Model 11.

The stock was split in 2 pieces and once I started stripping the wood, I saw more damage. After a pretty extensive epoxy job, I was happy with how it came together. The barrel was extremely pitted, and with this amount of damage, I couldn’t smooth all of it out without damaging the stamping. This was my first Falling Block rifle, I was surprised how simple it was designed. I’m happy with how it turned out.
