Quote for Service

All quotes will be handled on a case by case basis. Gunstock restoration is entirely unique per situation and will require specific details for the individual make and model of the firearm its made for. Once your quote has been reviewed and fully understood, an estimate on time and cost will be discussed with you personally.


Terms and Conditions for Service

  • Firearms:
    • We do not service firearms, firearm frames, receivers, firing mechanisms, firing pins, bolts, triggers, trigger assemblies or any other component used for discharging the firearm, and we will not take shipment, request shipment, or hold any firearm for service. Services include only gunstocks, components, and accessories that are detached from the firearm. Our services focus on woodwork craftsmanship for gunstocks and gunstock components, bluing and powder coating.
  • Gunstocks:
    • All gunstocks that are serviced must be removed from the firearm. Information and instructions can be provided on how to disassemble the gunstock in a safe manner. Services will only include gunstocks that are made from wood.
  • Bluing and Powder Coating:
    • Firearm Frames, Receivers and Firing Components: We do not service firearm frames, receivers, firing mechanisms, firing pins, bolts, triggers, trigger assemblies or any other component used for discharging the firearm.
    • Services for bluing and powder coating services include; barrels, buttplates, scope mounts and rails, pistol grip handles (metal), sling mounts or other components that are special requests. All components must be detached from the firearm prior to shipping.
    • Bluing services are for components that are made of steel, cast iron or stainless steel, and is a chemical process that oxidizes when it comes in contact with the metal, leaving a black outer coating to protect against corrosion. Non-ferrous metals, aluminum, and synthetic polymer materials cannot be blued.
      • Aluminum components can be died if requested, please specify this in the quote.
    • Powder Coating services are only for components made metal (listed below) and are cured at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Plastics, epoxy, synthetic materials and wood are materials that cannot be powder coated.
    • Materials that can be powder coated:
      • Aluminum
      • Stainless steel
      • Mild steel
      • Galvanized steel
      • Electroplated steel
      • Steel alloys
