Remington UMC Model 12 Stock Damage

Posted on June 15, 2021

The stock on this Remington Model 12 has a lot of oil damage. After floating it in acetone, and sanding, you could really see the oil stain. There isn’t anything that I can do further without damaging the wood. I used a dark espresso stain to try and blend it in. I’ll put a boiled linseed oil finish on to complete the job.
